Bird in the Forest | Photography Monday - 01/15/18
This photo was a complete fluke. While visiting the Redwood National Park in California, I noticed some birds further up the path, perched on the fence. But every time I got close enough to focus on one, they'd jump off the fence or fly away.It sure is frustrating to work with unpaid subjects. But finally, I decided to just take a picture of a bird wherever it ended up. Doing so, I got this picture. It's a good reflection of how we often have to treat people in life. It's difficult if not sometimes impossible to force people to your side or your will. This is because we wouldn't want others to force us towards their will or their side of an issue. We're selfish, and we want what we want.So don't get angry at how others are acting, but focus on how you can live peaceably with others. You just might learn to appreciate beauty you wouldn't have seen otherwise.“Live in harmony with each other. Don’t be too proud to enjoy the company of ordinary people. And don’t think you know it all! Never pay back evil with more evil. Do things in such a way that everyone can see you are honorable. Do all that you can to live in peace with everyone.” Romans 12:16-18 NLTHave a great week everyone!
