The Aux Cable Podcast
For months, I've been hinting on Twitter about a new project, and as of this past Wednesday, it's finally here. I released the Aux Cable podcast, and it is far from your average, every day podcast. The Aux Cable is THE podcast to get plugged into advice on everything.
Literally everything.
Everyone is invited to ask us any question they have via email or Twitter. Our goal is to answer every question we get, so we'll answer questions about podcasting, business, lifestyle, rocket science, you name it. Even if we don't know the answer at first, we'll find some way to provide it.Now, I've listened to plenty of podcasts in my day, and I've even lent a hand to multiple myself. In doing so, I found three things that make podcasts just that much better than the rest.
- Multiple hosts
- New information in each episode
- Fun stories or commentary to accompany that information.
I've made sure to make all three of these a reality for my own podcast. Recently, a good friend Matthew Bird agreed to join me as a co-host. We met while working on another podcast starting back in 2013. We've been known to have our share of hilarious discussions together, and we hope to bring that comradery to each and every episode. As far as providing new information, each episode of the Aux Cable will be devoted to answering at least three questions submitted by listeners. We had a blast doing so in our first episode, and I've heard the ones yet to come. You won't want to miss them. However, it is important in any great podcast to share that information in an enjoyable manner. So, do we do that?
Absolutely.
Matthew and I have both had some pretty amazing experiences. From traveling, to content creation, to a variety of work-related experience, we've done a lot. The thing is, you can't do so much and have that many interests without a few great stories. In the episodes I've edited, we've already used a few of these stories as illustrations for the advice we give, and I've gotten great feedback on the podcast so far.I could write all day about it, but the podcast speaks better for itself. You can find it by going to the Aux Cable website, or by searching the podcast on iTunes or Google Play.
